Activity 4: Design a banknote
Australian banknotes are colourful with many interesting design and security features. Imagine that you are an artist designing an Australian banknote. Your banknote will feature the person from your community who you researched.
About your design
Your design should include:
- a numeral
- a chosen colour
- the name of the country
- your noteworthy person
- pictures that say something about what the person has done
- patterns
- security features.
Make a design for your banknote using a computer or art materials.
Look at your design and talk about the good features and the things you could improve.
Exhibit your new banknote.
